Because Anxiety Said So: Managing Anxiety

Denial, ego, stubborn as a mule,
I am going to beat this, I will use every tool. 

I have been through worse or so I thought,
I wasn’t letting up, I had fought, fought, fought.

Tiresome, irritable, never taking a break
I was acting cool, it was so damn fake. 

I was done, but not giving up,
Just giving in, like one rescued pup.

It wasn’t going away, this was my new life,
It was okay, I promised to cut out the strive.

New outlooks, a positive mind,
I could manage this, taking it one day at a time.
